Any person may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sex discrimination or sexual harassment), in person, by phone, or by email using the contact information provided above or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report. Such a report may be made at any time (including during non-business hours) by using the telephone number or email address, or by mail to the office address, provided above.
Title IX STATES THAT:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Students who want to report a complaint or concern related to sexual harassment or sexual discrimination may do so by communicating with the Title IX Coordinator.
Title IX Required Publication of Training Materials:
In compliance with 34 CFR §106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) issued by the U.S. Department of Education to amend the regulations implementing Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1972, ASU Mid-South provides access to training materials used for Title IX coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and individuals who facilitate informal resolutions. These materials ensure that our personnel are trained on Title IX policies, procedures, and best practices for investigating and resolving complaints of sexual harassment and misconduct in compliance with OCR guidelines.
