That’s why ASU Mid-South offers an automotive and diesel maintenance program that trains students to use the most up-to-date, industry-relevant tools and equipment. The program focuses on steering and suspension, brakes, electrical systems, powertrain, and ventilation systems. But you’ll also gain essential hands-on skills including industrial safety, and proper use of trade-specific tools.
Whether the engine is diesel or combustion, you’ll be prepared to maintain them along with the brake and electrical systems. Launch your career in a high-tech shop with the latest machinery and tools taught by instructors with real industry experience.
THE PROGRAM
The Automotive and Diesel Maintenance programs teaches you how to maintain and repair truck and automotive engines and related components in a variety of vehicles and machinery. Because automotive and diesel technology and maintenance job openings often exceed the number of qualified technicians, you can almost guarantee yourself a rewarding career by completing ASU Mid-South’s program.
