Responsibilities:
• Instruct core curriculum classes • Record course attendance and grades in Canvas. • Conduct instruction in a wide variety of settings and time frames to include days, evenings, and/or weekends. • Organize and maintain instructional equipment as required. • Comply with all policies of ASU Mid-South and all relevant Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.Minimum Qualifications: A class A commercial driver’s license and at least 5 years of related industry experience with no at-fault accidents in the last two years of commercial driving. A degree or certificate awarded by a regionally accredited institution of higher education is preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with greater experience and relevant industrial certifications. A compelling combination of educational background, work experience, and professional credentials may be considered.
Other qualifications include excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills; a working knowledge of Microsoft applications, and evidence of ongoing commitment to professional development. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching or industrial training experience.
