Description
This course provides individuals with knowledge and skills needed to operate a forklift, as required by the OSHA 29 CFR Standard 1910.178 for Powered Industrial Trucks. The course provides instruction and hands-on training related to the operation of industrial forklifts, including inspection, maintenance, controls, stability, safety, and driving. Upon successful completion, each individuals is issued a forklift operator certification card and course certificate of completion. The course is for individuals seeking first-time certification and for individuals who need to recertify every 3 years to meet OSHA requirements.
Time/Date: Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Maximum Enrollment: 8 Students
Location: Room 103, Workforce Technology Center, ASU Mid-South
Prerequisites: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must present a current state-issued driver’s license at the scheduled class
