Our Tutorial Services department offers assistance in nearly every General Education course, including all math courses, English courses, Computer Fundamentals, and many more! Just come to the LSC, call (870) 733-6766 or open Starfish in Canvas (then look for Courses) to make an appointment!
Writing Tutor
Submit an essay for any subject to writingtutor@asumidsouth.edu and it will be returned within 24-48 business hours with corrections and suggestions from one of our ASU Mid-South tutors!
TutorMe (Online Tutoring)
ASU Mid-South now offers free access to an online tutor who is available 24/7!! Just log in to any class through Canvas and click on TutorMe in the left menu. Then click the green button that says “Connect with a Tutor.” This will open up another web page where you can choose the course in which you need help. You will be connected with a person who can help you – anytime that is convenient for you!!
SLA (Structured Learning Assistance)
Taking a difficult class? Ask for one with an SLA. For many of the more difficult classes, such as College Algebra or General Biology, there is help built into your class. Our SLA workshops provide you with an extra hour of help a week from one of our qualified facilitators. There are also incentives for attending.
Testing Center
The Learning Success Center can help if you need to take the ACCUPLACER placement test, or need to have an exam proctored for a class. To sign up, please click here.
